Headlights Residency #4
Time & Location
About the Event
At the Headlights Theater Residencies our mission is to bring aspiring dancers together to cultivate a strong bond between every person within our dance community. The Headlights Theater was built on a strong foundation of community and collaboration, which is why we are so dedicated to bringing every dancer (no matter your age, dance background, or even what studio you train with) together because WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER.
Usually our Residencies are 2 days long, but with the kids back in school and adults busy on weekdays, we decided to change things up a bit and create a 1 day workshop hosted by Brtiza Studios. During this 1 day workshop you will have the opportunity to work with professional dancers Charly Berghofer (she/her/hers, LA), Quaba Venza Ernest (he/him/his, NY) and Executive Director Madison Elliott (she/her/hers, SD&NY). We we will explore different movement techniques and modalities that will influence your overall technique in any genre of dance while honing into our own creative voices through improv and choreography. But thats not even the best part... on the last day of the workshop we invite all of our students to share their love for dance with our community in the premiere of our second season. COME PERFORM WITH US!
